VSNC Summer Internship Program. This free, non-paid educational program began in 2024 with six dedicated interns and has grown into a nationally recognized program welcoming 60+ participants each summer. Students may be high school, college, or postgraduate aspiring professionals who are eager to explore careers in healthcare. Interns gain exposure to clinical environments, research and data projects, professional development sessions, and collaboration with teams actively advancing patient care.

Program Basics

  • Duration: 10-week summer program
  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Compensation: This is an unpaid, free educational internship designed for experiential learning and mentorship
  • Eligibility: Minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Age Requirement: At least 16 years old by the start of the program
